Poor, lonely me.

I'm the only one here in the studio without multiple tattoos.

Boy Aaron has this on his arm:

We have a homophone situation here in the studio. A boy named Aaron and a girl named Erin. I tried calling Boy Aaron by his last name, but he didn't like it. I've suggested several other nicknames, and he has rebuffed every suggestion. For lack of a better nickname, he's just now referred to as Boy Aaron.

He calls me Boss Lady.

Erin has several, including this one on her back:

Shelley has nine or ten small tattoos. Shelley hates it when I call her Shelley, so I do it just to bother her.

And here I am, with no tattoos whatsoever, not even a little shamrock on my backside like John F. Kennedy, Jr. had.

How about you? I am curious to know what percentage of you have ink.

Wow :) What a colorful group you have...have they been playing in the dyes while the yarnista is away?? LOL :D
No tats here - but I did have a belly button ring when I was a young skinny thing :D

My ears aren't even pierced.

No tattoos here either, although my youngest son has a really big one on his arm and talks of another. He says once you get one you'll never stop. We'll see! They are just so, well, permanent.. I don't know what I would want on my body forever... unless it had something to do with yarn. Ha.

i have three... a pair of small, kinda swirly foot prints on my chest, a tribal dragon on my shoulder blade, and a pentacle in a crescent moon on the small of my back. i have a couple other in mind, but haven't finalized quite what i want. i've also had several piercings, but they healed up when i had to take my jewelery out for my last surgery....

No tattoos here, your not alone! However,I do have a very tiny nose stud that I really love. I like non-permanent type "tattoo" things on myself. Blue woad anyone? LOL Guess I'm just not a permanent tattoo person, although I see tats on other people that I think are pretty cool =)

Is that roving? How did I not know you had roving available??

No ink on me. Each time the DH visited over the past six months, he has had another tatoo. He's up to three. I hope he stops now. Heck, he's 52! Or maybe I should get one??? ;-)

Hey is that roving????? I want roving.....

Dang, there's no fooling any of you! It's roving. But it's roving that someone sent me to dye, not roving from my own personal stash.

I've got 3 now but they're pretty small (well my wings aren't small but hideable) and most folks don't notice them until I'm half naked or wearing shorts and flip flops for the one on my ankle. I've pierced my ears 3 times, same holes. They keep closing up on me! They need pierce number 4 now but I've given up. So now I have 3 tattoos and no piercings (but you can see the holes still, just nothing goes through them anymore).

Can I nap in your roving bin? I promise I'll shower first.

No tattoos here, although I am sort of sometimes contemplating one...

The advantage of being middle aged is that I know that one's physical geography changes over time. What may have been a perfectly rendered nice tight tattoo at one stage may end up changing over time and end up looking like Edward Munch's The Scream.

I shall live tatto vicariously through my daughter and try not to say "I told you so" when the physical plate tectonics happen and her tattoes start shifting south....

I couldn't help but notice the box of yummy fiber.

I had wanted a tattoo from the age of 18, and when I turned 25 I finally got one. It just took me that long to decide what I wanted (since I knew I'd be living with it for the rest of my life, I wanted it to be meaningful, not just a pretty picture) and where it should go (see that "plate tectonics" comment above). The tattoo is aging nicely, going on 9 yrs now... I sometimes think about getting another, but the urge isn't that strong, I guess because I feel like I put so much thought into the first one and it really is a representation of "me". I've never regretted getting it either, although we'll see how I feel once I get to the point where I have to start answering the "whys" of a toddler... :)

I got one as a rebellious teenager move (mumble-teen) years ago. Then I got one more recently in honor of becoming a mother (or in honor of my kid, if you're so inclined ;) ) I freely share the more recent one, as I love how we incorporated her first initial into the design. But, I realized most recently how much of a wuss-puss I am! I am pretty sure I am finished!

I have more than I do fingers on one hand and will be getting another in May. I love each and everyone, and I've never picked a design off the sheet; each is very personal to me. And while I may get older and they may not look "perfect", they'll still be beautiful, and they'll still be mine :)

I remain tattooless and piecedless (?) after half a century on Earth. Never had the hankering for either.

I love the Munch comment. May all who have tattoos age nicely.
