It's really, really here!

I am dying -- DYING -- to know what you think of the whole collection. What are you surprised by? What are your favorites? What can you see yourself making?

Don't keep me in suspense!

In each of our new colorway listings is a link to the shops that currently stock it. You can call, email, visit their web stores, or stop by the brick and mortar -- whatever floats your boat. Because everything is instock, you get the instant gratification of knowing your yarn will be on its way shortly -- no waiting for us to make it for you. And you get the warm fuzzies from patronizing a local shop.

I know our premiere is a bit unorthodox, but then I've never been known for following the already-charted path. I know it might take a bit of extra effort to shop in a local yarn shop this weekend, but I know I am speaking for every one of our Awesome Retailers when I say thank you for doing it.

When you buy our yarn in an LYS, you're not just supporting us, you're voting with your dollars. You're saying to the small businesses of the world, the ones who provide you with knitting help, classes, and the ability to see and touch things in person, that you want them here, and that you value their contribution to the knitting community. They appreciate your business, and so do we.

We are proud of what we do, and proud to be part of the most amazing community of people in the world. Thanks for being such amazing fans and friends.

Happy knitting, ogling, and caressing (the yarn! the yarn!) this weekend!

I think this was a really fun (and different) and exciting way to premiere your new colors! I wish that one of the PDX shops was participating, but luckily I have a personal shopper in the Syracuse area. I work at a LYS and it really does mean a lot when knitters choose to spend their hard earned money at our shop (or any LYS)...we wouldn't be able to stay open without them!

I think this is a very fun way to premier new colorways. Frustrating since I live in Alaska, but good for me since I can choose what I can't live without ( not much) and save my money for when they come to your website. I am IN LOVE. I can't even remember all the ones that are my favorites, but marmalade, globe trekker, black rain cloud, fresh earth, mediterranean, Cabbages and kings!!!, cheshire cat, golden afternoon, mad hatter, mimsy, paper lanterns and white rabbit. Those, I have to have. Sharon, you are so talented. I count myself blessed to know you and to have found you. Take a break. Take a vacation. You have earned it.

:-))))))))))))))))

And can I add.... I had chosen the colors I was going to paint my yarn room... a nice light blue/green and deep orange. Now I'm leaning to the oh so lovely blue in cabbages and kings and cheshire cat. I have to decide TOMORROW. oi.

GORGEOUS!!!! I am glad I am still up this late so I can drool so soon!! Oh!! How will I decide on just one (or two, maybe three...) YUM!

What do I think? I think you make the most beautiful presentation of your yarns I have ever seen.
Right now I am just appreciating them as works of art.
Probably by tomorrow I will be attacked by a lust for owning many of them, but right now I'm just scrolling through crooning over them.
Mmmmmm...

Congratulations! It's a lovely collection and I'm excited to see them in person at some point. I'm already looking for a pattern for Night Cap in Springvale Bulky.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Manor House Collection and can't wait to get the Man Cave Fresh Earth on my needles. Bravo! Well done!

I love them ALL!!!! But really really love every single color in the Man Cave collection.

Congratulations on an outstanding collection! Personally, I will take my time to decide what I want to make and place my order directly with you, not having an LYS at my disposal. However, if you want to know what initially grabs me, I can oblige: Everlasting Gobstopper (I am predictable, if nothing else!), Orange You Glad, Fresh Earth, Stone's Throw, Guinness (heck, I was in Ireland last week!), Rain Forest, Cabbages & Kings, Golden Afternoon, and White Rabbit. Marmalade has to be the most perfect red ever. If I thought about it, I could come up with more, I'm sure. Great job to you and your hard-working assistants! I foresee lots of busy in your future!

All of the colors were MORE than fantastic, Sharon. You always impress. . .I love the Man Cave collection and the Taste of Tropics. . .and. . .and. . .and. . .I can't wait to get my hands on some. There are so many that will eventually come to live with me, I'm certain and I'm already working on just the right project. I hope that some of the LYS's in our area begin to carry your loveliness!! I But until then, so many of the LYS's that I've worked with online and over the phone have been FANTASTIC! Thanks to everyone who was a part of it!!! :)

I love love love the new colors. I wanted to get something in the new Appalachian Trail colorway, since I have hiked part of the trail. There are 6 stores listed that carry it. None of them - NONE OF THEM - have a way to order it on their websites. Yes, I guess I could start calling all of the stores to see if they have it, hope to get a helpful person on the phone, try to guess what weight they might carry it in, blah blah blah. Um, no, don't think I'll be doing that. Obviously, I am less than impressed with this "new" way to introduce these colors. I live in Oregon. The closest store to me is 1000 miles away.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I'm literally panting to get my hands on some Manor House and Man Cave. You've outdone yourself, Sharon - bravo!!!

And I love your debut strategy - so respectful to your retailers. I'm always upset when companies send their merchandise to retailers, and then never do anything to help support those brick and mortar buyers. You've got way more than 34 shades of awesome, here - being so wonderful to your retailers counts for at least several more. :)

Thank you for being such an all-around fantastic Yarnista!

I have to say, I'm not impressed with the debut strategy. It really is a pain to call multiple stores trying to find the color I want on the base I need. When I order off the 3IG website I have to wait several weeks for the yarn, so the people lucky enough to have yarn shops near them will still get their yarn weeks before me. This way it's months before. I totally understand wanting to support the yarn shops, but them having the yarn in stock at the same time I can order with a 6-8 week turnaround should be enough of a jump. One of the main reasons I like 3IG so much better than other Indie Dyers is because I can order the colors I want on the bases I want without having to stalk websites or call all over the place trying to find what I want to buy. I think it was web sales that made 3IG as popular as it is, not yarn shops and frankly I feel a little gypped.

Hi Viv! I'm sorry you had trouble finding Appalachian Trail. I do see some instock here at A Good Yarn: https://www.agoodyarnsarasota.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=13922. They even have a webstore so you can order online. :)

Kara, thanks for your feedback, and I'm sorry you're frustrated. I know it's not possible for us to craft a strategy that makes 100% of our customers happy, and I'm sorry this has left you frustrated.

The good news is that you will be able to order off of our site very soon. :) Feel free to drop us a line if we can help you with anything. Threeirishgirls AT gmail DOT com.

Cottage Garden. Seriously - could be my next fav to Ms. Peach.

So, so excited. I made my father go to a LYS yesterday with list in hand. And then he called me to ask what the lady was talking about (she was trying to explain the difference between sock and fingering weights). I got Lucky Penny (and you recently posted a shawl on Pinterest that I think I'll use it for), Nightcap (I may have a shawl in mind for that too) and Bread and Butterflies (no idea what I'll do with it, but I just want to stare at it).

You did good!

I love this collection. My favorties are the semi-solids. Man Cave and Manor House will get some of my money for sure...

Great Work!
