TIME’S UP! Biggest yarn giveaway… ever!

Time is up! We'll be liveblogging the winners today (Wednesday) around 12:00 noon EST.
Have you seen our Spring Lookbook yet? (Even if you do nothing but flip through and think, "Cool," that will make me happy.)
We are giving away every skein of yarn pictured in the Spring Lookbook. Every single skein. All twenty of them.
This one:

And this one:

And this one:

And all seventeen more. We're not giving away the other stuff in the pictures, just the yarn.
There is no catch. You don't have to buy anything, you don't even have to pay for shipping. All you have to do is enter.
Contest rules: One entry per person. Our blog logs IP addresses, so we can check. Please enter only one time. You cannot be an employee of Three Irish Girls or be related to an employee of Three Irish Girls. (Got that, honey?) Your entry must be received by 4:30 am Eastern time on Wednesday, March 25th. Entries sent after that time will not be included in the contest.
Here's how it works: Reply to this post, answering the question below. You must actually reply to this post, do not email in your answer. (Click on the Read User's Comments link, and scroll down. It will take you to a box where you can reply.) After all the entries have been received, the number of entrants will be divided into 20 groups. One winner will be selected from each of the 20 groups. This is to improve your chances of winning. For example, if there are 100 responses, I will divide everyone into 20 groups. Each group will have five people.
Are you with me? 100 divided by 20= 5. I will then choose one winner from each of the 20 groups. In the scenario I've given, your odds of winning will change from one in 100 to one in five. Or something like that. I'm not a statistician. Just try to trust me, I'm looking out for you here. There will also be one grand prize given away, a winner randomly chosen from among everyone. The grand prize is a $150 gift certificate to be used on anything you like in our store.
TIME IS UP! WINNER'S WILL BE ANNOUNCED AROUND 12:00 EST TODAY (WEDNESDAY). BE SURE AND CHECK BACK, and thank you, everyone. :)GOOD LUCK, AND MAY THE (KNITTING) FORCE BE WITH YOU!

While I love Niall and Alana, I kept going back to Maura - that color combination just sings, very softly, about being a cozy shawl or lush cardigan...
I love Cian because I have been looking for just the right color for a spring shrug. It would go perfectly on a mediterranean cruise this summer!
At first, I was at a loss as I looked at all the colorways - what to choose? *How* to choose? LOL.
But then I saw Cian and I felt absolute certainty that I MUST own this colorway and in sufficient colors to make my baby sister (well soon to be 21, but still my BABY SISTER) a little cardigan in the yellow she has wanted a top in for two years now. This is the perfect color for her and... well, see 'round about last year I told her I would never knit for her again. This is after years of her picking patterns and yarn and then I slave over a project that she never wears.
I've figured it out: She doesn't know how to look at patterns and decide if they look good on her or not until she has the finished garment. So - I just won't ask her. I'll get this yarn, in this amazing colorway, and I'll make a teeny cropped cardi in secret and on the day she turns 21, VOILA! Instant success.
I also feel very virtuous as I have steadfastly avoided any mention of the gazillion or so clapoti I could make for myself from all the other amazingly beautiful colorways.
/is smug
I absolutely love Maguire. I'm always a sucker for a beautiful rich blue-green. It would be perfect for a pair of Rattlesnake Creek cabled socks.
I really like Maguire... such a pretty blue would make a gorgeous Icarus shawl or something like that. Actually, I love all the blue yarns on that page! :)
I Love them all, but if I HAD to pick just one, it would be Erin..... and it screams SOCKS to me! I've never knit socks before, but I would love to start with some Erin!

Kieran is just amazing..... And would be great in a little summer to fall top with short sleeves just for me.
wow 1297 posts already. Kudos for a great idea. I'll go with Cameron, which would make a fabulous lacy scarf. I love the spicy reds with touches of olive and purple
It's Grady for me - first of all I have a friend NAMED Grady. He is the only Grady I know! So I think I need to have the Yarn named Grady to make a Brooklyn Tweed vest or maybe a Man scarf for him! Grady for Grady!
Your yarns are gorgeous, and the photography is fabulous! There are so many I like, but I think I'd have to choose Clare. In a perfect world, I'd use it for a lace wrap to throw around my shoulders on gray days--I'm pretty certain that color would fix everything.
I think Grady is absolutely the most striking of them all (though I also love Maura, and Jack, and Madigan...); it has captured my heart completely. What would I knit with it? Probably fingerless gloves of some sort for my sister and I, simply because that's what I love to make.
I love so many, but I'm in love with Maura. She'd be a lovely lacy shawl. Love, Love, Love.
Niall would be my first choice, to make a lacy moebius cowl. Those are just my colors!
Maura is a close second, in part as it it my daughter's name, and in part because it would make a lovely triangular scarf/shawl. Subtle yet lively colors.
My absolute favorite is Kieran. I could see it being a beautifu lace scarf that would highlight the subtle color changes and would make a beautiful piece
(and the reds and oranges are really pretty colors)
In a perfect world, I'd get Clare and make a Baby Surprise Jacket for one of my great nieces or nephews.
I would choose Niall; it's so perfect to make socks to wear with jeans. I would make a pair of socks for myself in order to help complete my goal of enough socks to hike the Appalachian Trail in all my own handknit socks.
Wow, this is all absolutely gorgeous!
I love all of them, but the one that really speaks to me is Clare. Feisty, spirited, lively...it would be an instant pick-me-up, both to knit with it and to wear it. I am new to lace knitting and would probably knit a Forest Canopy Shawl so I could wear this lovely color all the time.
Thank you for sharing these little lovelies with us!
I have to choose? so terrible to choose. But Clare is spectacular!
Niall for me and I'd make another shawl with it:)
I would definitely choose Kate to make a tank dress and matching shrug for my four year old niece. HOWEVER, my favorite, gotta-get-it, can't wait to get my hands on it, woohoo beautiful yarn is Clare. Clare will make a beautiful February Lady Sweater for ME!!!!! Yippee!
Maeve - a nice light cardigan
I love kieran...and I think socks would be just great!
Although ALL the colorways were absolute gorgeous the ones that really made me gasp were: Madigan, Maeve and Kate.
I love Niall. I'd make a slouchy hat out of the Galenas chunky or mitts our of one of the lovely merinos to wear with my winter jacket...it would give me something to look forward to once this spring and summer are over....lovely new handknit to wear and keep me warm!
